The current definition of South East England consists of the following counties:-

Berkshire
Buckinghamshire
East Sussex (Eastbourne District, Hastings, Lewes District, Rother, Wealden District). A separate unitary authority exists for Brighton and Hove.
Hampshire
Isle of Wight
Kent
Oxfordshire
Surrey
West Sussex (Adur District, Arun District, Chichester District, Crawley Borough, Horsham District, Mid Sussex District, Worthing Borough)

The South East is represented as a single constituency in the European Parliament.
